On Saturday afternoon the +/- 15,000 strong crowd at RAMFest 2012 Johannesburg were entertained by revolutionary Afrikaans rockers Fokofpolisiekar (minus Hunter Kennedy) on the main stage. The band played all their old songs, which had a large portion of the crowd singing along (something that I’ve become accustomed to at Fokofpolisiekar shows over the years). I was particular impressed by the crowd’s enthusiasm on the day. If you ask me a large portion of the crowd were eagerly awaiting the appearance of Swedish Metal band In Flames on stage, but that did not stop the Johannesburg faithful to rock out to the max during the Shadowclub, Fokofpolisiekar, The Narrow and Pestroy sets. I snapped this photo of 2 enthusiastic / crazed Fokofpolisiekar fans on Saturday and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 13th of March 2012.
