This probably is one my favorite classic rock songs of all time. This song was written by Jimmy Page & Robert Plant. Although it’s one the most requested songs on US radio, the song was never really actually released as a single in the US. I remember hearing this song for the first time, I was still in high school when my one friend borrowed his Led Zeppelin – Remastered CD. Stairway to Heaven was actually released on the band’s fourth album, IV in 1971. Led Zeppelin was formed in 1968. The band has sold over 300 million albums worldwide.

Seeing the WTC towers at the beginning of the video gave me chills.. this is an excellent song indeed. Hopeful, but sort of sad in the melody at the same time.
