Elle Macpherson was born in 1964 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She did her first commercial in 1982 for Tab in Australia. She needs no introduction in the modelling world. Over the years she appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition a record 5 times (in 1986, 1987, 1988, 1994, and 2006). By 1986 she had already made it to cover of Time magazine. She has also ventured into the acting field, starring in various movies, including Sirens, Batman & Robin, A Girl Thing and a few others. She is definately worthy of being featured on this blog as the Daily Babe for the 12th of November 2009.
