Danko Jones was formed in 1996. The band hail from Toronto, Canada. Danko Jones (on vocals and guitar), John Calabrese (on bass) and Dan Cornelius (on drums) are the members of Danko Jones. The band have been nominated for 4 Juno Awards (Canadian Music Awards) between 2000 and 2004. To date the band has released 5 studio albums: I’m Alive And On Fire (released in 2001), Born A Lion (released in 2002), We Sweat Blood in 2003, Sleep Is The Enemy in 2006 and Never Too Loud in 2008. Take me Home is taken off the Never Too Loud album. This song has a way of getting stuck in ones head is an excellent tune to crank up if you’re driving back home from a long holiday. Danko Jones is not very well-known in my native South Africa, but hopefully this post will change that. The Never Too Loud could be a nice Christmas gift.
