Vodacom Daddy Cool Advert

South Africa’s leading mobile phone network Vodacom has released a new TV advert. This advert features the 1976 hit song by German pop sensation Boney M. I must say that this is definately one of the best Vodacom adverts to be released in recent times (in this blogger’s opinion). They seem to be keeping to their high standards. Vodacom provides coverage to Mount Kilimanjaro (the highest point in Africa), which used to make it the highest point in the world to be covered by GSM. Vodacom has more than 35 million subscribers in South Africa, Tanzania, Lesotho, Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The company was established in 1994 and was the first mobile phone network in South Africa. The Vodacom Daddy Cool advert has been selected for the TV adverts section on Running Wolf’s Rant in the Television category.
