Bugatti has created what is likely to be the ultimate version of its world-beating hypercar: the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport. Bugatti sent its official test driver out on Volkswagen’s Ehra-Lessian high-speed oval in early July to see what it could do. The new version of the Veyron puts out 1,200 horsepower and 1106 pound-feet torque. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport also has a revised aerodynamic kit. The Bugatti test driver managed runs of 265.9 mph (425 km/h) and 269.8 mph (431 km/h) for an average terminal velocity of 267.81 mph (428 km/h). It’s new world land speed record for a production car.
