2011 South African Music Awards (SAMA) Winners – Part 1

Last night winners in 38 categories for were announced at the 17th Annual South African Music Awards (SAMA) at an events ceremony at Monte Casino in Johannesburg. The event has been split over 2 nights this year. More awards will be presented tonight.  The 2011 SAMA Awards are also being streamed live via Livestream for the first time in its history. Both nights of the event is broadcasted live on SABC 1 in South Africa. Running Wolf’s Rant would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all winners that were announced last night.
