3 Tweets of the Week (from @super_saffa_k, @BaasDeBeer and @spilly)
Yes folks, its that time of the week again, time for Tweets of the Week. I’m pretty sure some of you have reading this post have been waiting just for this.
Recently the Springboks lost against the All Blacks at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg in the Rugby Championship (formerly known as the Tri Nations). The Boks had a good first half, but the team from New Zealand outplayed them completely in the second half. We watched the game at a friends place and we didn’t really pay attention the last 20 minutes of the match, that’s how poorly we performed. Heyneke Meyer and the Springboks should work on their defense if you ask me. I think our first Tweet for Tweets of the Week from @super_saffa_k sums it up. We need to get Felix Baumgartner on speed dial before we play our next rugby test!
Don’t you just hate when someone types “LOL” on Facebook or Gmail chat or in their tweets and they’re not really Laughing Out Loud? I know I’m guilty of this, but I’m trying to kick the habit – and yes, its not friggin’ easy okay? I’ve spent years and years on MIRC before I discovered Facebook and Twitter, I can’t help it. I’m trying hard to refrain from doing this and I think @BaasDeBeer‘s Tweet for Tweets of the Week might have the solution to my problem.
I admit that at once I did the Macarena and the YMCA dance when I was young and horrendously drunk in my first year, but I’ve refrained from such activity since then. I never really “Got Jiggy With it” and I most certainly will not be getting my Gangnam style on. Dances like these are utterly stupid and I try not to do them, but I’ll still play the fuck out of air guitar (just because it’s really cool). Playing Air Guitar is awesome and it makes you feel like Angus Young or Dave Grohl and if I ever have children, that is the only dance that I’ll teach them. I think the last Tweet for Tweets of the Weeks from @spillly sums up exactly how I feel!
There you have it, 3 Tweets for Tweets of the Week. If you have an opinion on anything that I’ve said in the post, feel free to comment on it. If you’ve enjoyed this post, please share it with your friends on Twitter and Facebook. Remember: Sharing is Caring.
