Independence Day – Resurgence: This film was co-written and directed by Roland Emmerich (who also directed the first Independence Day film and  1994’s Stargate). Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox and Brent Spiner are reprising their roles the film will also feature performances by Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, Sela Ward, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Joey King, Angelababy and William Fichtner.

Independence Day Resurgence

Twenty years after the War of 1996, the international community recovers and builds up Earth’s defenses using technology salvaged from remains of the alien forces, with some military forces assembled on the Moon.

However, the aliens were able to send a distress signal before their final defeat while others went into hiding elsewhere around the world. The aliens in deep space receive the signal and threaten the human race once more with a new, even larger and more powerful battle fleet.

Sounds Exciting! Independence Day – Resurgence will be released in June 2016. Check out the trailer here.
