A Life Reminder from Hunter S. Thompson
Let’s face it folks, you can’t be serious about things all the time. Sometimes you just have to put your head down an experience life. It doesn’t matter what lies ahead of you – it might be really good, it might be really bad or it might be something in between, who knows? For this reason, I’m giving you a Life Reminder today.
I’ve been taking life seriously a lot over the years. I have a tendency to over analyse things on a regular basis – don’t ask me why, I just do. And I’ve come to realize that all of you reading this, I also need a Life Reminder from time to time.
For those of you who did not know, Hunter S. Thompson was one of the most influencial writers of the 20th Century. He wrote for Rolling Stone magazine in the USA for a huge number of years. He’s also the author of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (a book that was made into a movie starring Johnny Depp in the leading role).
I’ve come to this conclusion about life (thanks to Hunter S. Thompson): One simply cannot be serious about stuff all the time. Sometimes you just have to let loose and plunge into the uncertain outcomes ahead of you. Over-analysis of relationships with your exes, your work situation, plots of television series and movies, or “which model has the nicest boobs of them all” and other wild thoughts will drive you insane. You just have to let loose once in a while. Life is too short.
This is a Life Reminder from Hunter S. Thompson that will probably make you come to same conclusion
What do you think? Do you agree with me? Or do you think this is bullshit? Drop a comment and let me know. I’d like to hear from you.
