More acts announced for Rocking the Daisies & In The City

SA’s number one festival, Rocking the Daisies and number one online fashion retailer, Superbalist, collaborate to bring you, the fan, the biggest and best Daisies yet!

Rocking the Daisies has always been a highlight on South Africa’s festival calendar, bringing some of the world’s biggest and best acts to local shores over an action-packed four-day extravaganza, so it comes as no surprise that the two brands are joining forces to bring its audience the ultimate fashion, music and lifestyle experience. There is fantastic alignment in this partnership between Superbalist and the Rocking the Daisies and In The City festivals and everyone involved is amped about this partnership.

It’s #RockingMonday and Superbalist, Rocking the Daisies and In The City are stoked to announce some great new additions to the line-up.

Rocking The Daisies

We’re going down under! The Electronic Dome at Rocking The Daisies gets boosted with the addition of international Aussie based act Opiuo. Beat boxing and living looping his way onto the Main Stage, make sure you catch multi-vocalist and musician Beardyman. An incredibly innovative performer, Beardyman has ceaselessly pushed the boundaries of what the human voice can deliver and with humor to boot, this will no doubt be a very interesting performance. He will also be part of the line-up for the 3 day In The City festival in Johannesburg.

In The City

Hailing all the way from Switzerland, Luke Redford has found the sweet spot between deep house, techno and electronica and will be sure to get you grooving on the shores of the Caribbean Twist Beach Bar.  Luke Redford’s musical journey is all about collecting music from all over the world, arranging it to a dense mix of soundscapes, noises patterns and melodies that unfold to a mesmerizing mix, which rather aims for cosmic dance floor moments, when the people are

Some more of our favourite South Africans add local flavour to the lineup and include Milkshake, Sibot & Toyota, Crazy White Boy (live), Christian Tiger School, B_Type, Gangs of Ballet, Reason, BCUC, Douglas Olson vs Miss CJ, Ryan the DJ, Yanga, 1st Project, Vigilante, Leeu, Monark and Headroom.

Tickets for Rocking The Daisies are on sale to those who purchased tickets in Phase 3. But Phase 2 ‘reservers’ we have good news for you! If you have reserved a ticket in Phase 2 but have not purchased it, you will now have the opportunity to purchase a ticket in Phase 3 (at the Phase 3 price).

Each ticket must be assigned to an individual person; multiple tickets cannot be purchased under one name, so make sure that you get your friend’s cellphone number and email address if you’ll be buying for them.  Ticket transfers opened on the 1st of June and will close 12 hours before the festival gates open. All tickets can be transferred online and will cost R50.
