On Friday night I made my way to the new Arcade Empire venue for a second time. Things have improved a lot since my post featuring My 2 Cents on the new Arcade Empire Venue. All of the lights are working at the new venue, the bathroom situation is a lot better and the bar queues were a lot shorter. Arcade Empire was quite packed for a Friday night but it didn’t feel like it was overcrowded at all.
Tidal Waves and Aidan Martin played at the venue (which is located at 265 The Highway Street in Equestria) on Friday Night. Aidan Martin was up first. He stunned the Pretoria faithful with his 70′s style guitar riffs and almost Robert Plant like vocals. He’s definitely one of the okes to look out for in the second half of 2012. If you haven’t seen this bloke and his band live yet don’t worry, Aidan Martin is playing at Oppikoppi Sweet Thing this year, try not to miss his set.
I snapped this photo of Aidan Martin and his band performing on Friday night at the new Arcade Empire and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 31st of July 2012.
Yesterday a photo featuring a Pretoria Sunset (at Park Acoustics) was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out. Watch this space for daily updates on this blog in the Photography and Babes category.
