On the 5th of May 2012 (last week Saturday) I made made to Dozi’s Back to the Roots (just outside Hartbeespoort in the North West Province) for Vanfokkingtasties (featuring Van Coke Kartel, Fokofpolisiekar, Die Heuwels Fantasties and aKING). aKING were the 3rd band to perform on the day and they basically blew the crowd away. The crowd sang along to most of the songs they played. It was the third time in week that I saw aKING perform. I also watched them play at Skyroom Live (on the Sunday) and Atterbury Theatre the night before (some kind of record for me I think). I snapped this photo of aKING performing on the day and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 12th of May 2012.
