On the 1st of July @BaasDeBeer and I made our way to the National Botanical Gardens in Pretoria to catch a performance by aKING and City of Heroes. After watching the Centurion laaities perform first my ears were treated to an excellent live performance from Bellville Rockers aKING. It’s the 4th of 5th time that I’ve seen them perform this year, but they do get better and better with every live performance. I snapped this photo of the band performing on the day and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 6th of July 2012.

this was such a cool, chilled out way to spend a Sunday…. Thanks again to RW Rant for my free tickets and the awesome time that was had chilling in the gardens to good music! I’d definitely go again, and recommend a nice little walk round the gardens while you’re there – was truly worth it!
