Amsterdam is the capital and largest city in the Netherlands. This city has an estimated population of 762,000. More than 2 million people live in the Amsterdam metropolitan region though. It’s definately one of the cities in Europe that I want to visit one day. I’m sure that pubs in the city will be packed to capacity tonight to watch the Netherlands take on Spain in the 2010 FIFA World Cup final.
