Anna Paquin was born in 1982 in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. She grew up in New Zealand, her parents moved there when she was 4 years old. She drew the attention of the movie critics in 1993 when she starred in the movie The Piano (when she was only 11 years old). She won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in this film. This made her the second youngest Oscar winning actress in history (behind Tatum O’Neal). Since then she has starred in numerous films. She is probably best known for her role as Rogue in the X-Men movies. She has appeared in other films like Amistad in 1997 and Almost Famous and Finding Forrester in 2000. She has a great future ahead of her and I’m sure that we’ll see her in plenty of movies in the future. Today Anna Paquin is the Daily Babe on Running Wolf’s Rant.
