Great news for SA Music fans! Cape Town rockers Ashtray Electric are launching a free self produced digital EP entitled “WTF” soon!
The band literally recorded this EP in a garage without any help from anyone. Quite impressive if you ask me.
Even better news is that they want fans to design the cover! Do you have any hidden design talent in a bag? Then this is the time to pull it out of that bag and get your design shoes on.
All that you Ashtray Electric fans out there have to to do is to be creative and you could win a bar tab for the launch at The Assembly (in Cape Town) on the 25th of August. Photos, Illustrations, Designs are welcome!

Ashtray Electric have been making waves in the SA Music industry for the last few years already. They’re definitely one of the most underrated bands in South Africa, if you ask me.
They definitely deserve more exposure. If you have an opportunity to see these okes live at a venue near you, don’t miss them, they never disappoint with a live set.
