On the 9th of August Oppikoppi Sweet Thing started on the farm near Northam in the Limpopo province. The second act that I had the privilege of watching and photographing at the festival was the Black Cat Bones.
These Pretoria boys have been making waves in the SA Music industry over the last few years. They pulled off an excellent performance at Oppikoppi on Thursday night at the James Phillips stage, much to the delight of the rock-loving crowd. At one stage they were joined on stage by Albert Frost, something that just made it extra special. If you missed these okes at Oppikoppi make sure that you catch them live in a city near you sometime, you won’t be disappointed.
