On the 9th of August Oppikoppi Sweet Thing started on the farm near Northam in the Limpopo province. The second act that I had the privilege of watching and photographing at the festival was the Black Cat Bones.
These Pretoria boys have been making waves in the SA Music industry over the last few years. They pulled off an excellent performance at Oppikoppi on Thursday night at the James Phillips stage, much to the delight of the rock-loving crowd. At one stage they were joined on stage by Albert Frost, something that just made it extra special. If you missed these okes at Oppikoppi make sure that you catch them live in a city near you sometime, you won’t be disappointed.
I snapped this photo of Black Cat Bones performing at Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 11th of August 2012.
Yesterday a photo featuring Aidan Martin on stage @ Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing was the Daily Cool Photo on this blog, feel free to check it out.
