After watching Hot Water perform on the Bacardi Main stage and SA/DC (a South African AC/DC tribute band which featured Jorik Piennaar from Not My Dog, Jaco Mans from Tidal Waves and Wouter Reyneke from Mrs B) on the BOS Ice Tea stage at Up The Creek 2012, it was Pretoria based Blues Rock Band The Black Cat Bones turn to make noise. Their set started at 3:30 AM on Sunday morning. Surprisingly enough the Up The Creek faithful did not stay away from their set. They were definitely a crowd favorite. They showed the people of the Western Cape what a Pretoria based band are capable of on stage. The Black Cat Bones were definitely one of my favorite acts at the festival. I snapped this photo of them performing and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 7th of March 2012.
Yesterday a photo featuring Hot Water on stage @ Up The Creek 2012 was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out.
