The Brandenburg Gate is in Berlin, Germany and is one of the Europe’s most recognizable landmarks. The gate was built between 1788 and 1791. This used to be the border crossing between East and West Berlin before the Berlin wall fell and Germany was re-united in 1989. The Brandenburg gate was restored between 2000 and 2002.
