Bulls vs Waratahs @ Loftus Versfeld 2011
On Friday night my dad and I made our way to Loftus Versfeld to catch the Bulls playing against the Waratahs in a Super 15 rugby match. The Bulls have to win all their remaining matches in the tournament to stand a chance to reach the play-off stage this year, so the pressure was on. A try by Bulls centre Wynand Olivier just before the end of the first half of the match put the Bulls in the lead. The second half was highly stressful besides the fact that the Waratahs were reduced to 14 men. In the end the Bulls won by 23 points to 17 (thanks to a try by Bjorn Basson). Unfortunately the Bulls were not able to secure a bonus point (which might make their road to the play-offs a bit rough). I snapped this photo at the match on Friday night and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 6th of June 2011.
Yesterday a photo featuring a Close Up of Die Antwoord on stage @ RAMFest 2011 Jhb was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant. Watch this space for updates in the Daily Babe and Daily Cool Photo sections on this blog. A large chunk of the posts on the blog feature South African bits and pieces, so feel free to check them out.
