Burning Croc Stunt Still @ The Dudes of Hazard Live at Aandklas
This past Saturday I made my way to Aandklas in Hatfield, Pretoria to catch the Dudes of Hazard (a stunt team of dudes from Ermelo in Mpumalanga) live. During the course of the evening I bumped into @stevoza, @DapperTrapper, @williehotbox, @XavierLoubser, @MartieMarieVDM, @estiaanv, @RyanBrunyee, @XavierLoubser, @RoelienVDW, @mj_healy and others. It was fun covering the event with @BaasDeBeer, @BraaiBoy and @MikeMetalBower. I also had the privilege to take video of the Dudes of Hazard doing a few live stunts live on air at the Tuks FM studio in the afternoon before their show. It was an evening filled with insane stunts. They broke PC keyboards over each other’s heads, got bitchslapped by about 20 pissed-off girls and got shot at close range by paintball guns (to name just a few). One guy even took a BB gun shot to the ballsack (live on air on Tuks FM and at Aandklas). Like I said, insane. Dudes of Hazard do all their stunts without drinking a single drop of alcohol (which is quite impressive I might add). One of the Dudes of Hazard got hit by a burning croc (not an actual crocodile, a shoe) and had to be rushed off to hospital. He did return to venue in bandages, and is currently recovering. I wish him a speedy recovery. I snapped this photo of @BraaiBoy and one of the Dudes of Hazard before the actual “Burning Croc” stunt and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 31st of May 2011.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all involved with organizing the event for a fun filled and unique Saturday night at Aandklas. Yesterday a photo featuring a Crowd Scene @ RAMFest 2011 Johannesburg was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant. Watch this space for updates in the Daily Babe and Daily Cool Photo sections on this blog. A large chunk of the posts on the blog feature South African bits and pieces, so feel free to check them out.
