STRAB Music Festival is less than 2 weeks away and tickets have been sold out, but that doesn’t mean that you have to miss out on some of the awesome performances that await lucky ones who have tickets. The Road to Strab – Voodoo Beach Party is on this weekend at Arcade Empire (on Saturday the 18th of May 2013).

No less than five acts will be performing on Saturday: Bittereinder, The Black Cat Bones, Raoul & Black Friday, Natalie Chapman and Tombstone Pete. In case you were wondering, doors open at 3 PM. Tickets cost R70 via Ticketbreak or R80 at the door.

Vood Beach Party @ Arcade Empire 720x267 Win Tickets to the Voodoo Beach Party at Arcade Empire!

If you have not seen Bittereinder live yet, you have definitely missed out. This Pretoria based electro rap ‘n roll act will have you bouncing up and down in no time. The same goes for the Black Cat Bones (who recently released another album) and won the Best Live Act MK Award this year. Like Bittereinder, they are one of the most energetic live acts in SA Music.

Raoul & Black Friday play rocking Blues in a style which is anything but laid back. They’re setting the bar at an international level and never settle for anything less. Natalie Chapman has the ability to serenade you with her angelic voice and Tombstone Pete can be described as the bastard child of Rodrigo y Gabriela meeting Rage Against the Machine. All of this sounds super exciting if you ask me.

Great news is that Running Wolf’s Rant is giving away a double ticket to Road to Strab – Voodoo Beach Party. All you have to do to enter is send the following tweet: “Send me to the Voodoo Beach Party @ArcadeEmpire @hennokruger” . The competition closes on Friday (the 17th of May 2013) at 10 AM. Winners will be announced on the same day.
