Chicago Skyline at Night
Chicago was incorporated as a city in 1837. It’s the 3rd most populous city in the United States with more than 2.8 million residents (in its urban area). More than 8.7 million people live in the Chicago metropolitan area. The name “Chicago” is a French rendering of the Native American word “shikaakwa”, meaning “wild onion” or “wild garlic,” from the Miami-Illinois language. It’s definately one of the places that I wanna visit in the United States. This photo of the Chicago skyline at night has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 16th of October 2010.
