City of Heroes on stage @ Pretoria Botanical Gardens
On Sunday, @BaasDeBeer and I made our way to the Pretoria Botanical Gardens to catch another Old Mutual Concert in the Gardens series show. This time Pretoria based act City of Heroes and Cape Town rockers aKING were part of the line-up. City of Heroes were up first. Their style reminded me a bit of Tweak, to be honest. I also need to state that I’m not particularly familiar with their music, but I must also say they did put on quite a good show. I’m pretty sure that these okes will be maturing musically over the next few years and I’ll be sure to keep my eyes and ears on them. City of Heroes released their debut album entitled The Great Unknown in 2011. I snapped this photo of City of Heroes performing on Sunday and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 5th of July 2012.
Yesterday a photo featuring Free the Animals on stage @ Zepplin’s Rock Shack was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out.
