Close Up of Die Antwoord on stage @ RAMFest 2011 Jhb

In March 2011 I made my way to the Johannesburg leg of RAMFest 2011. The headline act for the evening was South African Zef Rap Superstars Die Antwoord. They made their way onto the stage at Riversands Farm after International acts Funeral for a friend (from the UK) and Alkaline Trio (from the USA). Van Coke Kartel, Zebra and Giraffe, Not My Dog, BLK JKS, Bittereinder, Dance You’re On Fire, Pity the Fool, Knave, Desmond and the Tutu’s and others made up the rest of the line-up at the 1 day festival. I snapped this close up photo of Ninja (also known as Waddy Jones – a former member of the rap outfit Max Normal and one of the members of Die Antwoord) and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 5th of June 2011.

Yesterday a Close up shot of Wrestlerish @ Hatfield Carnival was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant.
