In late March 2011 I made my way to Hatfield Square in Pretoria for Vredefest. Candi Black, Mrs B, Die Tuindwergies, Van Coke Kartel, aKING and Evolver One played on the night. It was an awesome display of local music. And it was all for a good cause. Vredefest is held in collaboration with the Vrede Foundation (which strives to spread cancer awareness to you people under the age of 30). I snapped this Close Up photo of Pieter De Jager (the lead vocalist of the Afrikaans band Die Tuindwergies) at Vredefest March 2011 and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 3rd of June 2011.
