Crowd at Albert Frost Set at Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing

Albert Frost played one of the best sets that I’ve seen him play at Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing. He blew the Oppikoppi Crowd away with his intense guitar riffs and awesome live performance abilities.

Albert Frost was joined on stage by Gareth Wilson, Tammy Wilson, Andre Kriel, Chris van der Walt, Francois Van Coke and others during his. His colab with Francois Van Coke during which they performed one of his classic tracks “Kamakastig Land” was definitely one of the highlights of Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing for me. It’s something that I’ll never forget.

If you have been multiple Oppikoppi festivals over the years and you’ve missed Albert Frost, there must be something wrong with you. Albert Frost has played at each and every Oppikoppi festival since it started in 1994. I can’t think of another artist that has managed to do this. Bloody impressive ek se.

I snapped this photo at Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing during Albert Frost’s set on the Friday and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 28th of August 2012.
