Yesterday I attended Park Acoustics (which featured Tony Benko, Tim Burns, Die Tuindwergies and Die Heuwels Fantasties) at the Voortrekker Monument (just South of Pretoria). Unfortunately I only arrived at the gig during the Tim Burns set. The vibe was relaxing and awesome (in true Park Acoustics tradition) even though the venue had been changed from the Botanical Gardens. The venue was awesome with ample space, stalls and braai facilities. Pretorians took full advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the sunshine. I snapped this photo of the crowd in front of the stage just before Die Tuindwergies started their set.
