Crowd at Park Acoustics during Koos Kombuis set
Yesterday I made my way to Park Acoustics at Fort Schanskop at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria. The mainlining act for the day was Afrikaans and South African music legend Koos Kombuis. He was supported by Bateleur (whom I unfortunately missed), Shannon Hope and Guy Buttery (who was joined by fellow Durbanite Dan Patlansky on stage). It was the biggest crowd that I’ve seen at Park Acoustics at the Fort Schanskop venue. The event was well organized and the crowd thoroughly enjoyed acts – proof yet again that Pretoria does have the best live music crowds in South Africa (in my opinion). I snapped this photo of the crowd during Koos Kombuis’ set and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 25th of June 2012.
Yesterday a photo of Van Coke Kartel on stage @ Pretoria Botanical Gardens was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out.
