In 2005 I attended Oppikoppi Wired. It was definately one of best ones I’ve been to. We were at the festival from the Friday to the Tuesday morning (after the Women’s day holiday on the Monday). It was a very long weekend filled with excellent tunes, dust and lots of booze. This was also the year that Fokofpolisiekar played an acoustic gig at the festival. I have many fond memories of Oppikoppi Wired. Sometimes I think I live from one Oppikoppi festival to the next. I snapped this photo of the crowd under the trees at the main stage area on that weekend. This photo has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 17th of September 2010.
