In August 2011 I made my way to Park Acoustics at the Voortrekker Monument for a gig featuring Neil van Deventer, Hoot ‘n Anny,Southern Gypsey Queen and Dan Patlansky. It was one of the coolest gigs that I went to last year. I was thoroughly impressed with all the artists on the day. Dan Patlanksy was the perfect act to end the day. This blues rock artist has been making waves in the SA Music industry over the last few years. He’s one of the few artists in SA that is endorsed by Fender. I snapped this photo of him performing on that day and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 12th of April 2012.
