Desmond and the Tutus on stage at Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing
On the Friday night at this year’s Oppikoppi festival Desmond and the Tutus made their appearance of the James Phillips stage. These boys (who are based in Gauteng) have never disappointed me with a live show. Their set at Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing was no exception.
I was particularly impressed with Desmond and the Tutus’ stage presence during their show. They seem to get better at it with every performance they do. Hearing songs like “Tattoo” just made the Friday at Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing extra special.
If you ask me, Desmond and the Tutus are one of the most underrated acts in the SA Music scene. These okes know how to play a live show and they have a unique sound. South Africa needs more bands like Desmond and the Tutus. If you have an opportunity to see these okes live, embrace it – you won’t be disappointed.
I snapped this photo of Desmond and the Tutus performing at Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 29th of August 2012.
Yesterday a photo featuring the Crowd at Albert Frost Set at Oppikoppi 2012 Sweet Thing was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out.
