Die Tuindwergies on stage at Lente Lawaai 2012
On the 1st of September I made my way to Lente Lawaai at Harlequins Rugby Club in Pretoria East. It was a fun filled day in the sun featuring some excellent performances by Naas Veld, Moses Metroman, Fokofpolisiekar, Tidal Waves and others. Die Tuindwergies made their way onto the stage when the sun was starting to set in the Pretoria.
Die Tuindwergies have been making waves in the SA Music industry since 2009 and they did not disappoint the crowd at Lente Lawaai. They played a lot of songs from their second album (which was released earlier in 2012). Die Tuindwergies played a very entertaining set. It was one of the most memorable performances that I’ve seen by them this year.
I snapped this photo of Die Tuindwergies at Lente Lawaai and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 14th of September 2012.
Yesterday a photo featuring Southern Gypsey Queen on stage at Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, , feel free to check it out.
