Flash Republic on stage @ Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens

Last week Saturday I made way to the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens in Johannesburg for another edition of Old Mutual Music in the Gardens. Planet Joy, Shadowclub and Flash Republic were on the line-up for the day. After the Jozi crowd were stunned by Shadowclub and Planet Joy, the majority of them got up to shake their booties to Flash Republic.

It was the first time that I watched Flash Republic perform. I must say that I’m not a huge fan of their musical style, but that there’s nothing wrong with their performance skills. Flash Republic had the crowd dancing to their songs in no time. I snapped this photo of Flash Republic performing on the day (with the focus being on Tamara Dey and the lead guitarist of the band) and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 26th of July 2012.

Yesterday a photo featuring Isochronous on stage @ Arcade Empire was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out. Watch this space for daily updates on this blog in the Photography and Babes category.
