On Saturday the 5th of May 2012 @BaasDeBeer and I made our way to Dozi’s Back to the Roots (just outside Hartbeespoort in the North West province) for a Vanfokkingtasties CD Launch set. Fokofpolisiekar were the last of the 4 Bellville based bands to perform on the night. They played an absolutely epic set. I was particularly blown away by their new song “Dagdronk” (which has the ability to get stuck in your head). The song is on the brand new Vanfokkingtasties Acoustic album. I snapped this photo of the crowd and Fokofpolisiekar on stage at Dozi’s Back to the Roots (which is located on SA Music legend Dozi’s farm) and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 10th of May 2012.
