In case you did not know, Frame Janko are a brand new outfit hailing from Johannesburg, who are ready to hit the scene hard. Inspired by the likes of The Hives, Franz Ferdinand, The Wombats and Arctic Monkeys, to name a few – they have a strong focus on original melodies, dance inducing drums and a vocal attitude which remains true to their divergent personalities. With that – the band is ready to kick up some dust and explode within the booming SA scene we all know and love.
After spending the majority of 2017 in studio, Frame Janko‘s debut album, “Eyes on Fire” promises to deliver an accessible sound via songs about upbeat narratives and harsh truths – all while remaining faithful to its members’ beliefs, personalities and anti-cliché intentions.
Due for release on the 26th of February 2018 and boasting 11 diverse tracks, it is a result of the members’ ability to express interesting perspectives on relatable topics and situations. Upon hearing it, you’ll know why “Eyes on Fire” is central to it all…
Commanding a unique blend of indie and rock n roll, accompanied by smooth, powerful vocals, melodic guitars, dancey, locked in drumming and groovy bass lines – Frame Janko have a burning desire to deliver their new sound while making everyone in the crowd either nod their heads while singing along or dance like crazy.
Frame Janko are set to deliver the provocative energy expressed on the album to bigger live shows this year, with some exciting bookings already on the radar.
“Eyes on Fire” was made available to pre-order on iTunes and Google Play on Monday 12 February 2018 and there are 3 songs available for instant download. The Full album will be released on the 26th of February 2018.
