Frankfurt is the 5th largest city in Germany. More than 5.5 million people live in the Frankfurt metropolitan area. The city is located in the Hesse province. The Frankfurt Stock Exchange is by far Germany’s largest, and is one of the world’s most important. Frankfurt is also the seat of the European Central Bank which sets monetary policy for the Eurozone economy, and of the German Federal Bank. Over 300 national and international banks are represented including the headquarters of the major German banks. It’s definately one of the cities I’d like to visit in Germany one day. This photo of the Frankfurt Skyline has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant in the Photography category. Watch this space for daily updates. The Babes category is also updated daily.
