Friday Loud: In Flames – Where The Dead Ships Dwell
So, it’s Friday and I bet most of you are getting very amped for the pending weekend. Because many of you have the urge the rock out and shout “Hell Yeah!” or “Yeah Buddy!” (like my good friend Vicky always does) on this day, I’ve decided to introduce Friday Loud on Running Wolf’s Rant.
Today’s chosen song is by In Flames (a Swedish heavy metal band who headlined RAMFest in 2012). The band hail from Gotenburg and were formed in 1990. They released their first studio album in 1994 (entitled Lunar Strain). Since they’ve released nine other studio albums and have played at various rock, alternative and heavy metal music festivals around the world. They are currently touring the USA with Lamb of God and two other bands and have hinted that they’ll be releasing another album in 2014.
I have to admit that I’m not a huge fan of In Flames, but they do have a few songs that are truly loud and most of you know that loud is the new awesome, right? To help you get through this potentially long day, I have decided to select their song “Where The Dead Ships Dwell” as the first Friday Loud tune on Running Wolf’s Rant. Hope this helps you get through this day
Now that you’ve listened to this tune you feel a little bit more in the mood for the day, right? Leave a comment and let me know what you think. If you have any suggestions for future Friday loud tunes, feel free to e-mail me.
If you have friends who need a boost today, feel free to share this article on Facebook and Twitter. Remember: Sharing is Caring after all.
