BryanHabanaWC480new-300x194 Great Tries: Bryan Habana (2005) Bryan Habana needs no introduction. He was born in 1983 in Benoni (which also happens to be the birthplace of South African actress Charlize Theron). He made his international rugby debut in 2004 for the Springboks. He started playing his provincial rugby for the Golden Lions (based in Johannesburg) in 2004. He moved to Bulls (based in Pretoria) in 2005. He was part of the Bulls team for 4 years. The Bulls won the Super 14 in 2007 and 2009 and he was part of the Bulls team on both those occasions. He left the Bulls at the end of the 2009 season after signing a contract for R3 million with Western Province / The Stormers (based in Cape Town). He’s been playing for this side since the start of the 2010 Super Rugby season. In the 2005 Tri Nations tournament South Africa faced Australia in a match at the Subiaco Oval in Perth. On the day, Bryan Habana scored this try in the 2nd half of the match to help secure the Springboks’ first victory on Australian Soil in 8 years.

    Hi,

I accidentally ran into your blog while I was surfing online. I just read some of your articles, and I must say that I really like your writing style.

I would like to talk to you about the possibility of publishing your articles on the website I am employed at. If you’re interested in having your articles read, rated and commented by an international audience, I would like to further explain my inquiry. How can I best contact you? (email/phone)

    Thanks,

    Lisette

  • That was a great match, in the video you posted you can see Fourie keeping up with him though. Check my link for the first break out try by Habana(from the same match), he literally outruns everyone.
