Heineken is one of my favorite beers. It looks like the Dutch beer brand is getting the people in The Netherlands hyped up for the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa (which kicks off in less than 9 days). This advert features the Dutch version of the South African Makarapa (a hand-cut and hand painted hard hat which belongs to a typical South African football fan’s supporters gear) called the Pletterpet. It’s one of the best TV adverts I have seen that have been released in anticipation of the world’s biggest sporting event. This advert has been selected to be featured in the Television category of Running Wolf’s Rant.
