Faeron Wheeler Interview: Faeron Wheeler was born in 1984. This South African actress started off as a dancer but soon realized very early (in her tweens) that she would never be able to go professional, so she turned to acting. She loves story telling and she also got into writing. Gareth Wilson Interview – Gareth Wilson is a member of the South African rock band Southern Gypsey Queen. I saw Southern Gypsey Queen perform in 2009 at the STRAB festival in Mozambique. Their sound could be described as a little bit of AC/DC mixed with a little bit of Bob Dylan and Neil Young. The band is originally from Molteno, a small town in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Bianka Ferreira Interview – Bianka Ferreira was born in 1990. She is a South African model and student best known as one of the six “vixens” on the Vuzu reality television series Vixens in 2009. Jack Parow Interview – Jack Parow is one of the rising stars in the South African music scene. The song Die Vraagstuk by Die Heuwels Fantasties first put Jack Parow on the road to stardom. He performed his own set at Oppikoppi 2009 Smoorverlief and also made an appearance at the performance by Die Heuwels Fantasties at the same festival. Vittorio Leonardi Interview – Vittorio Leonardi is a South African stand-up comedian. His shape puts him in the “genetically Italian” category. The mop of curly hair makes him look like a refugee from a Heavy Metal group. He didn’t always fit in to the sleepy small-town vibe of Welkom (in the fairly quiet but interesting Free State province of South Africa). For the past 10 years he’s been seen on South African comedy stages from Polokwane (In the North) to Cape Town (In the South).
