Italian Pizza Place in Mozambique
I went to STRAB festival in Mozambique in May this year. It was one of the most epic weekends of 2013. It was the fourth time that I made my way to Ponta Malongane for a festival weekend and it was well worth the 7 hour drive from Pretoria. Imagine this: 4 days of fun, sun, music, good vibes, good people, lots of R&R (Rum and Raspberry), babes in bikinis and much more.
If you haven’t been to Mozambique I recommend that you make your way to STRAB festival or FORR festival at least once before you kick the bucket. It will be one of the most amazing experiences of your life, I guarantee it. As we were leaving the resort where we stayed for the festival I spotted a sign for ‘Genuine Italian Pizza’ and I remember my good friend Nino told me on the weekend.
This pizza place actually delivers on the beach when you order from them. I am speaking under correction, but I don’t think we have this in South Africa. Pretty cool concept though – and yes I have been told that the pizza is good and genuine Italian. Maybe I should try ordering from them when I visit Mozambique again next year.
I snapped this photo of the Italian Pizza Place in Mozambique’s sign and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for today.
Will you give this a try when you’re in Mozambique? Am I seeing you at the next STRAB or FORR festival in 2014? Leave a comment and let me know. Feedback is appreciated and welcome here.
