On Friday night, I made my way to Firkin in Centurion to catch the #JagerDwerg Guiness World Record attempt party featuring Klopjag, Naas Veld and Die Tuindwergies. After Naas Veld and Die Tuindwergies showed the Centurion faithful what they are capable of on stage it was legendary Afrikaans band Klopjag’s turn to play on the stage at Firkin.
It was the first time that I saw them perform since 2005 or 2006. They played all the old favorites, like “24 uur”, “Stof”, “Skree” and “Karloos in Arcadia”. It was awesome singing along to all these songs. Klopjag proved beyond a doubt that they still have what it takes when it comes to live shows. I snapped this photo of Klopjag performing in Friday night at Firkin and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 9th of July 2012.
Yesterday a photo featuring Die Tuindwergies on stage @ Firkin Pub, Centurion was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out.
