Kobus de Kock Jr on stage @ Zepplin’s Rock Shack
On Saturday night the Black Cat Bones were the last band to perform at the Sun to Moon Festival at Zepplin’s Rock Shack in Centurion. These Pretoria based boys tore the crowd a new one with their intense blend of old school / bluesy rock ‘n roll. Their regular bassist wasn’t playing on the night, but they had a formidable replacement. Franco Jamneck (of Soil 7T7 fame) filled in for Chris van der Walt on the night. Every time I see these okes perform they just get better and better and Saturday night was no exception. I snapped this close up photo of Black Cat Bones frontman Kobus De Kock Jr on stage on the night and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 3rd of July 2012.
Yesterday a photo featuring Aidan Martin Band on stage @ Zepplin’s Rock Shack was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out.
