The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 hypercar made its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011. The car features an earth shattering 700 hp V12 (the highest power to weight ratio of any car in its class). According to Lamborghini “Aventador” was the name of a bull that entered into battle on October 1993 at the Saragossa Arena (earning the “Trofeo de la Peña La Madroñera” for its outstanding courage). The car’s performance is estimated to be 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of around 349.2 km/h (217.0 mph). The suggested retail price for the Lamborghini Aventador is €255,000 in Europe, £201,900 in the UK and $379,700 in the United States. I think it’s safe to say that I will be buying one of these cars soon, they are simply too expensive. And besides this, Lamborghini announced after the launch of the Aventador that they had already sold out over 12 months of the production vehicles (deliveries started in the second half of 2011).
