Lamborghini Reventón

This mid-engine sports car made its debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show in Germany in 2007. The Lamborghini Reventón has the ability to reach a top speed of 340 km/h (210 mph). With a pricetag of $1.6 million its the 2nd most expensive car in the world today. According to an Official Lamborghini press release only 20 of these cars are to be released to the public. In true Lamborghini tradition this car is named after a fighting bull which belonged to the Don Rodriquez family. This particular was most famous for killing a bull fighter in 1943. In Spanish Reventón means “explosion” or “burst” when used as a noun. The Lamborghini Reventón is also the most expensive Lamborghini ever released. I’ve always been quite a fan of the Lamborghini brand. This photo of the Lamborghini Reventón has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo for today on Running Wolf’s Rant.
