Today’s Daily Babe is international model, Liu Wen. She was born in the Hunan province in China in 1988. She was the first model from East Asia to walk in a Victoria’s Secret Fashion show. She’s also one of the highest paid models of 2013 – Liu made +/- $4.3 million this year.
Liu Wen started her modeling career in 2005 when she entered the New Silk Road World Model Contest. Although she did not win the competition, she soon began working full-time as a model, eventually becoming a national success story after working with Chinese fashion magazines like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
She has done campaigns for Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Oscar de la Renta, Hugo Boss, Alexander Wang, Rag & Bone, H&M, Marni, Lane Crawford, Bergdorf Goodman, Diesel, Gap, Vivienne Tam, DKNY Jeans, The GAP, Barneys New York, Benetton, Alexander Wang, Converse, CK One and various other brands and has worked for numerous modeling agencies. In 2012, The New York Times named her China’s first bona fide supermodel. She’s definitely worthy of being named the Daily Babe for the 30th of December 2013 on Running Wolf’s Rant, just check out her photo below.
