Man As Machine on stage @ Arcade Empire
On Saturday night I made my way to Arcade Empire once again to catch Man as Machine and Lark live. Man as Machine made their way onto the venue’s stage first. This self-managed Johannesburg based hard rock / rock ‘n roll band have been around for a few years already. Their experience as live performers proved to be quite prominent on the night.
I vaguely remember seeing them live in Hatfield Square sometime in 2010. They’ve improved since then. For those of you who did not know, Man As Machine’s members are Rob Visser (on vocals), Norden Hartman (on guitar), Xavier Knox (on bass guitar) and KJ Forde (on drums). Although Man as Machine has been performing since late 2008, the band were patient in their meticulous planning, writing and producing of their debut album “Nothing But A Thing”.
I snapped this photo of Man as Machine performing at Arcade Empire on Saturday night and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 2nd of August 2012.
Yesterday a photo featuring Piet Botha on stage @ Park Acoustics was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out. Watch this space for daily updates on this blog in the Photography and Babes category.
