Manica bottle on the table in Mozambique

Earlier in 2010 I attended the STRAB music festival in Mozambique. For the 2nd time in my life I experienced the awesomeness of Mozambique, it’s cuisine, its hospitality and its friendly people. I truly love this country. We arrived at Ponta Malongane on the Thursday and made our way to the bar to enjoy some R&Rs (something you have to drink when you’re in Mozambique). The next morning we headed out to Ponto du Ouro (about 4 km from Ponta Malongane). We went to the same restaurant we ate at last year. 2 of my friends got engaged on the beach. It was a truly special day. I enjoyed a few Mozambican beers whilst on my visit there. Manica was one of my favorites. There’s actually a province and a town named Manica in Mozambique, so I’m not sure after which one its named. I snapped this photo of the bottle on table in the restaurant on that special day. I’m super glad to see they love Beer in Mozambique just as much as i love beer 🙂 I wonder if they have enough beer there? Do they even have Draught? Maybe i need to give them some beer like i give beer to the needy here in South Africa..
